Ready for a new technical challenge?
We are looking for a technical-scientific project manager

Nagra, the Swiss National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste, is responsible for the planning and implementation of the safe disposal of radioactive waste produced in Switzerland. The International Services and Projects (ISP) Division is responsible for our international consulting services, the operation of Nagra’s own underground laboratory, the Grimsel Test Site ( and the associated coordination of international cooperative projects. To further strengthen our team we are looking for a technical-scientific project manager.

You should have a natural sciences or engineering background with an advanced
university degree and a minimum of seven years of experience with a focus on
• hydrochemistry as well as one or more of the following areas:
• hydrogeology, environmental engineering and applied geosciences
• surface and underground exploration of rock formations
• analysis of geoscientific data and modelling of the relevant processes

Our strength is delivering state-of-the-art solutions using our in-house expertise in synergy with that of our well established partner network. A demonstrated ability to lead and work within multidisciplinary teams and to deliver prompt, efficient and cost-effective results including comprehensive documentation are a must. Multi-tasking, a high degree of flexibility, a flair for project acquisition and willingness to travel abroad for short periods are expected. The working languages in ISP are English and German. International experience as well as knowledge of additional languages are assets to be considered favourably in the evaluation.
