Register for a guided tour
Please contact Renate Spitznagel (see box on right for contact details) to register for a guided tour of the Grimsel or Mont Terri rock laboratories. You can also visit a Nagra drill site (details and registration).
Rock laboratories provide important insights
Underground rock laboratories provide scientists with the opportunity to conduct experiments on a large, almost realistic scale. The research includes investigating the rock and its behaviour as well as testing technical procedures. The experiments provide important information for the construction of deep geological repositories.
We look forward to your visit.
