Details

Dossier I:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular from the drilling operations and including the drill site construction.
Dossier II:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular the photo documentation of the cuttings and core samples as well as the resinated core slabs.
Dossier III:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular a detailed description of all encountered lithologies and lithostratigraphic units.
Dossier IV:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular the data from detailed microfacies analyses as well as ammonite- and palynostratigraphy, complementing the lithostratigraphic report (Dossier III).
Dossier V:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular from the detailed core goniometry and the characterisation of the tectonic structures observed in the drill cores.
Dossier VI:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular from the wireline measurements(petrophysical logging and microhydraulic fracturing).
Dossier VII:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular from the hydrogeological investigations such as hydraulic packer testing.
Dossier VIII:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular the data from detailed laboratory analyses on core material for petrophysical and geochemical rock and porewater characterisation.
Dossier IX:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular from geomechanical laboratory testing on core material, such as triaxial and oedometric testing.
Dossier X:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, first results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are presented, in particular from the stochastic petrophysical log analysis combining selected wireline and Multi-Sensor Core Logger as well as laboratory measurements.
Summary Plot:
To provide input for site selection and the safety case for deep geological repositories for radioactive waste, Nagra has drilled a series of deep boreholes in Northern Switzerland. The aim of the drilling campaign is to characterise the deep underground of the three remaining siting regions.
In this report, the results from the Marthalen-1-1 borehole are summarised in the form of a composite plot, including a short technical explanation of the information displayed.
